  13. First of all...thanks to all who replied with information on finding a
  14. current printer for an old Amiga 500.  It was a lot of help.  I just have
  15. a couple of last questions to double check on before we go out and buy
  16. this thing.

  18. What we're looking at is either the HP Deskjet 600C or 660C.  I've checked
  19. on AmiNet and found drivers for the 500C and 550C, but nothing for the
  20. 600 series.  Does anyone know if these would definitely work?  Like I said
  21. previously, the printer will be used later for a PC, so it just needs to
  22. provide basic output from the A500 until then.  (In other words, we're
  23. just looking to be able to print out quality text...graphics and color are
  24. not a must (though admittedly would be nice))...

  26. The only other problem is getting the drivers onto the A500.  It doesn't 
  27. have a modem to download them directly.  So...is it possible to download
  28. the drivers off of AmiNet to my PC and then set up a null modem connection
  29. between the PC and A500 to transfer the driver?  And if possible, does the
  30. A500 have a terminal program already that would allow this without getting
  31. additional software?
